Round 5 and so much to cheer about.

This was a very busy game week!

I taught the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids on Monday and Wednesday evening, and I suited up again for Round 5 to replace one of our injured squad members so there a lot to think about, teach and get through.

Carly and I jumped in the studio on Thursday morning to record some videos for upcoming games which was a tonne of fun, followed by the game on Saturday.

Game day consisted of rehearsals, blocking positions and nutting out some last minute changes, promotional duties for One Solutions and Men of League and a quick refresh of the routine before we went out on the field to perform for Pre Game Entertainment.

The Sharks won 37-6 against the NZ Warriors and this was their first win for the season, so the stadium was roaring with Sharks fans from this result. To top off a great weekend, this morning we were excited that the Daily Telegraph had a great article in the sports section celebrating 50 years of cheerleaders in the NRL.

I’m looking forward to our next Home game in Round 7 at Remondis Stadium and I have some exciting things planned for this one.

Below are some images of the stunning Cronulla Sharks Mermaids from yesterday’s game.
