Pom Pom Madness it was!
The Cronulla Sharks held 2 Cheer Clinics over the July School Holidays and both of these days were filled with young, excited, smiley faced dancers who turned up to learn from some of the members of the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids and to see what it’s like to be part of their teams cheer squad.
Both days started with a fun introduction from the Cronulla Cheerleaders followed by some very excited question and answer time where they got to ask all the questions they wanted about what being a Mermaid is all about.
Next up was a big group warm up, a big session of corner work and a fun routine that they were able to perform at the end of the clinic.
Each member received their own set of Pom poms to take home, signed mermaids Tshirt and poster and a fun little gift bag.
I loved teaching at these clinics and it was so great seeing these young dancers excited to be involved in what we do as a squad.
Thank you to all the beautiful and talented dancers who came along, as well as the amazing members of the squad who came to teach at the clinics, Alex, Brit, Ashlea, Christine and Karla and to the awesome staff at the Cronulla Sharks who put these days together for the kids.
